About CE4You CEO, Dr. Richard Schmitt

Dr. Schmitt graduated New York Chiropractic College in 1982. He founded Back to Health Chiropractic centers in 1982. Back to Health was a network of 16 chiropractic practices with centralized administrative, financial, human resource and marketing divisions. It provided chiropractic care to thousands of first time patients, attracting them with aggressive radio and cable advertisements while hosting seminars on health related topics for the general public. In 2004 Back to Health became Atlast Health Care Centers of Maryland. Atlast specializes in the care of personal injury patients and has grown to 43 locations throughout MD, DC, and VA. Atlast is one of the largest chiropractic practices in the state, with thousands of patient visits every year. Dr. Schmitt holds a number of board certifications in the health care field and regularly testifies in court as an expert witness on the subject of chiropractic care. He was president of the Maryland Chiropractic Association from 2007 to 2009 and now serves on their executive board.

Dr. Schmitt believes that Chiropractic is the best kept secret in health care and it’s his goal to change that. After treating thousands of patients, Dr. Schmitt has seen that nearly 90% of all conditions, pains or symptoms that people suffer from in their day-to-day lives can be corrected or at least treated with Chiropractic.

In May of 2009, Dr. Schmitt founded Continuing Education for You with the goal of educating Chiropractors. It quickly grew into a marketplace to grow the profession and help Chiropractors achieve goals and succeed in business. Once perfected, Dr. Schmitt would like to extend the CE4You platform to other professions which he believes will benefit through its services.

Dr. Schmitt is a licensed doctor of chiropractic in the states of Maryland and New York. On a personal note, Rick is an avid sailor, Ravens fan and proud parent of two.
